Farm show season continued across the region today in Garrison with the annual McLean County Ag Show The day long event was full of resources for producers getting ready to get back in the fields in a few weeks and they can thank the Garrison FFA for this learning opportunity The kids are responsible for making the event happen and lots of the pressure falls on the shoulders of Stephanie Stumvoll The junior is the manager of the show this year She says getting the booths and speakers lined up took about two months and she feels what they had on display today was well worth the effort and they even learned a few things Stephanie Stumvoll - Ag Show Manager You learn planning and patience and leadership Last night when we set things up you had to know what had to get done and who had to do it Handing out the orders was the main part of it If you are organized that is the biggest part 51 booths were set up for the event today Three speakers were also on hand discussing topics like carbon credits and the future of ethanol
