Ethanol Plane Pilot Talks with Kids

One of the aerial demonstrations tomorrow is by Greg Poe who ll be flying an ethanol-powered MX-2 single engine aerobatic plane Today he was addressing students at Ramstad Middle School presenting a program he calls Elevate Your Life The program shows some of what Poe has done as a pilot over his decades in the cockpit But it also shines a light on the abilities of all the students in the audience Poe describes the drug-related death of his young son and encourages students to focus on their talents and passions Greg Poe Pilot Because so many of them don t they just don t know that - they re kind of caught up in all the confusing messages in their lives They don t realize that at the end of the day they re no different than anyone else and if they just become passionate about something and take it seriously and pursue it they can unleash that potential they have and lead a very rewarding life Poe will perform his aerobatics at tomorrow s Northern Neighbors Day at 2 10pm at the Minot Air Force Base
